That is precisely what happens in the Robotics Program at Corporación María Perlaza, a space where children and young people explore the world of technology while developing talents that can stay with them throughout their lives.

During the sessions, students learn basic programming and design concepts using tools such as Scratch and Tinkercad. Through these platforms, they develop logical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

But beyond technology, what is truly being built are opportunities.

While some children are discovering the world of programming for the first time, others are already beginning to imagine the projects they would like to complete by the end of the year. One participant recently shared that he would like to build a LEGO robot, a goal that reflects how these spaces can turn personal interests into tangible dreams.

Every new learning experience strengthens students’ confidence and allows them to recognize abilities they may not have known they possessed. That is why the Robotics Program does more than teach technological tools; it also helps develop talents and broaden horizons.
