When a company decides to put its purpose at the service of the community, its impact goes beyond its commercial activities. This is how the partnership between Leche Pal Pelo and Corporación María Perlaza began—a collaboration that demonstrates that education is the path toward building a society with greater opportunities.

Leche Pal Pelo is a Colombian hair care brand with more than ten years of experience, focused on caring for and transforming the hair of families. Its commitment is reflected not only in its products, but also in the social initiatives it supports to create a positive impact in communities.

During a visit to Corporación María Perlaza, we spoke with Laura Domínguez, Marketing Coordinator at Leche Pal Pelo. In addition to representing the company, Laura is a graduate of Liceo Benalcázar and volunteered with the Corporation during her school years—an experience that strengthened her belief in the power of education to transform lives.

What connected Leche Pal Pelo with Corporación María Perlaza?

For Laura, the answer begins with one conviction:

“Education is the foundation for building much more autonomous societies with greater opportunities.”

Before becoming partners, the Leche Pal Pelo team took the time to learn about the work of Corporación María Perlaza. They explored its social media channels, website, and each of the educational programs it develops in the Nacional neighborhood and other areas of Cali.

What they found was an organization that not only supports educational processes, but also creates opportunities for children, young people, and their families, while strengthening the social fabric of the communities where it operates.

“We connected with the incredible work they have been doing in education and the impact they are creating in Cali and throughout the region.”

A Partnership Turned into Action

The commitment between Leche Pal Pelo and Corporación María Perlaza has materialized through various activities aimed at contributing to the community’s comprehensive development.

The company has participated in Children’s Day celebrations, painting workshops, recreational activities, and the Tienda Comunitaria, a space where its products are also available at a special price.

These initiatives demonstrate that corporate social responsibility takes on true meaning when companies and organizations join forces to create opportunities that have a lasting impact.

Education as a Driver of Transformation

One of the aspects Laura highlighted most was Corporación María Perlaza’s comprehensive approach.

Beyond supporting academic processes, the organization develops complementary activities that strengthen children’s and young people’s skills, involve families, and create a positive impact throughout the community.

Thanks to the support of partner companies like Leche Pal Pelo, the Corporation continues to benefit more than 2,000 children, young people, and families across Valle del Cauca, firmly believing that education remains the most powerful tool for transforming lives.

A Message to Other Companies

Laura took the opportunity during the interview to invite organizations that are not yet familiar with the Corporation’s work to learn more about it.

“Children are the most important. Corporación María Perlaza has been strengthening education in the city for many, many years. I truly encourage you to get to know them and support them because they do incredible work. Thank you for believing in education as a way to transform lives.”
