Many of the children in our programs face daily challenges in accessing a balanced diet. This reality is critical in our region. According to the Futuros Urbanos Cali report, food insecurity affects 54.4% of households in our city—a figure that exceeds the national average.

This crisis directly impacts childhood development. In Valle del Cauca, an estimated 10.8% of children under five suffer from chronic malnutrition or stunted growth. A deficit in micronutrients does more than affect physical health; it compromises cognitive development and the very future of our youth.

How Does This New Donation Program Work?

Currently, every child at the Corporation receives meals through the PAE (School Feeding Program). However, this is only a supplementary contribution that must be enhanced to guarantee superior development.

Starting this month, we are joining forces with the Abbott KinderSure Laboratory project to provide a nutritional supplement enriched with high-quality protein and 25 essential micronutrients. This product is specifically designed to strengthen:

• Bone health and physical growth.
• The immune system.
• Cognitive development.

The supplement comes in individual sachets for simple and safe daily consumption. It is recommended for a minimum of six months to create a real, lasting impact. Furthermore, it is backed by scientific research and current health certifications, ensuring the highest quality for our children.
