We are proud to announce that our president, Esperanza Izquierdo, has been selected as the representative of Valle del Cauca for the Cafam Woman Award. This prestigious recognition honors the social and humanitarian work of exceptional women in Colombia. She will compete at the national level alongside representatives from other regions for the top three positions.
For over 14 years, Esperanza has been dedicated to leading our mission of transforming lives through education, and supporting individuals, families, and communities facing significant challenges.
This is not the only recognition of her outstanding work. In 2024, Esperanza was also nominated for the Mujer Vallecaucana Award, granted by the Government of Valle del Cauca, reaffirming her impact on the region and her legacy of hope.
Why is her nomination important?
The Cafam Woman Award honors leaders whose solidarity-driven actions improve the lives of those affected by poverty, abandonment, violence, or natural disasters. Esperanza’s nomination not only acknowledges her remarkable career but also highlights the importance of our cause.
Thanks to the support of donors, collaborators, and our educational community, this mission continues to grow.
Stay tuned for this incredible opportunity to celebrate the impact of a journey that has given thousands of families a brighter future.
